About this Song
Long before earning widespread acclaim for his string of chart-topping tracks, the Filipino pop artist cut his creative teeth sharing stripped-down guitar covers that laid the groundwork for the sound that would become his signature. From those modest early origins, his career expanded to produce hits that resonated deeply with local and global listeners alike, with tracks like “Buko” and "Magkabilang Mundo" cementing his reputation for work that feels both deeply personal and universally accessible. His smooth vocals and consistently relatable songwriting have allowed his work to connect with millions of listeners, a reach reflected in the millions of Spotify streams his catalog has amassed, turning his early independent passion project into a sustained, beloved musical career.
