About this Song
From his first shared guitar covers, Jireh Lim has grown into one of the Philippines’ most compelling pop voices, with a discography that traces a clear, intentional evolution from humble independent beginnings to the wide-reaching, boundary-pushing work that defines his current creative era. Distance, the latest entry in his expanding catalog of pop output, carries the same core strengths that have turned every phase of his career into a success, leaning into the smooth, immersive vocal delivery and deeply relatable songwriting that first endeared him to audiences when early hits like “Buko” and “Magkabilang Mundo” rose to mainstream prominence across his home country.
