About this Song
The road to building a body of work that resonates across generations of Filipino pop fans begins for the creator behind Buwelo with the quiet, formative practice of early guitar covers, small creative stepping stones that would lay the groundwork for a career marked by consistent artistic growth and deep, enduring connection with audiences. What began as intimate, low-stakes performances of songs that moved him first as a listener evolved into a discography anchored by chart-topping hits like “Buko” and "Magkabilang Mundo," tracks that cemented his ability to turn ordinary, relatable human experiences into music that feels both deeply personal and universally accessible, a throughline that has remained consistent even as he pushes into uncharted creative spaces.
