About this Song
The three creative presences that anchor this pop recording, Lily Rose Depp, The Weeknd, and JENNIE, bring their individual bodies of work to bear on One Of The Girls (Instrumental), a sound rooted in the Philippines’ thriving, globally connected pop ecosystem that has spent decades merging local creative traditions with the global pop landscape’s most innovative tendencies to create work that feels both specific to its regional context and universally accessible. As an instrumental iteration of the core work from which it takes its name, this recording recontextualizes the pop format’s most foundational elements, removing the layered vocal performances that often serve as the primary focal point for pop audiences to invite a deeper engagement with the structural choices that bind the full track together.
