About this Song
The blend of retro, funk, rock, and modern OPM that defines the collective’s discography anchors My Juliana, a pop sound from the Philippines. This collective does not lean on generic or overused creative frameworks to connect with audiences. Uncommon sounds, untested stylistic choices, and layered, distinct stories shape every piece they release. That commitment to original, unborrowed creativity has allowed their work to cut through oversaturated market spaces and reach listeners across vastly different age groups. No segment of the local audience is left out of the pull of their music, as the blend of familiar retro touchstones and forward-thinking modern production creates a throughline that resonates with long-time fans of Philippine popular music and younger listeners just discovering the breadth of the country’s local creative output.
