About this Song
Live rock and roll recordings from the Philippines carry a specific cultural weight that ties them to the long, interconnected circuit of local rock communities that have cultivated the genre across decades of performance and exchange. Framed as a chronological profile, this sound’s narrative traces the full timeline of context that leads to the capture of Shot!!! (Live), building from the foundational place of rock and roll within Philippine cultural life to the specific, unrepeatable moment preserved in the recording itself. The chronological structure avoids framing any piece of music as an isolated artifact, instead positioning every work as a node in an unfolding, ongoing story that connects past performers, present audiences, and future creators alike.
