About this Song
Mingi Song’s multi-faceted creative vision takes center stage across every layer of ROAR (MINGI), a pop sound originating from the Philippines, built to showcase his breadth of talent as part of his ongoing DESIRE PROJECT, a body of work designed to highlight his range as a songwriter and creator. While rooted in the rage hip-hop genre that anchors the track’s core identity, ROAR (MINGI) weaves in elements of hard rock and EDM to craft a fierce sound that leans into an addictive, unshakable strong hook, and features Mingi’s signature slogan and chant that have become a hallmark of his work. First released on July 11, 2025, by KQ Entertainment, the track appears as part of ATEEZ’s album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3 'In Your Fantasy Edition', marking a key cross-over between his group work and his solo creative pursuits, before it was later included on Mingi’s own EP FIX OFF Desire Project : ORIGIN, which arrived on May 11, 2026, to compile the full scope of work from his DESIRE PROJECT series.
