At the core of Sony Pictures Animation’s 2025 Netflix animated musical urban fantasy KPop Demon Hunters is HUNTR/X, the fictional K-pop girl group whose three members Rumi, Mira, and Zoey serve as the film’s main protagonists, leading double lives that weave their on-stage artistry into the story’s highest-stakes supernatural conflict. Their music powers the Honmoon, a protective magical barrier that prevents demons from crossing into the human world to steal souls, turning every one of their performances into a act of defense for the people they protect. The ensemble behind HUNTR/X splits acting and vocal duties to bring the trio to vivid, layered life: EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami provide the group’s singing voices as Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, respectively, while Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo step into their speaking roles to round out each character’s full personal and narrative arc.
