About this Song
Alok and Steve Aoki team up for 2 Much 2 Handle, a DJ Live release rooted in the Philippines’ thriving community of electronic music fans and creators, who have long embraced live DJ sets as a core format for experiencing the full range of what collaborative electronic performance can offer. The release falls under the umbrella of DJ Live music, a category that centers the unfiltered, in-the-moment work of DJs as they craft seamless, immersive experiences for audiences, whether those audiences are gathered in a city club, a sprawling festival field, or tuning into a recorded set that captures the energy of a live performance long after the final track fades. The pair’s collaborative work on this release ties together their individual approaches to DJing, bringing together two distinct artistic voices that have each built their careers around the craft of curating and performing electronic music for crowds around the world.
