About this Song
Rooted in the interconnected landscape of contemporary Filipino creative practice, Tahan Na finds its home in the expansive, ever-evolving global framework of R&B, a genre that has long drawn from regional cultural sensibilities to reimagine core creative traditions that stretch across continents and decades of cross-cultural artistic exchange, adapting to the specific contexts of every community that picks up its formal and thematic threads to craft work that feels both familiar to longstanding fans of the genre and entirely new to those encountering it for the first time.
