About this Song
To position a work within a documented artist catalogue is to root each individual sound in the full scope of creative output that defines the artist’s practice, turning every standalone recording into a thread that connects to a larger, evolving body of work. Stay Awake, an R&B sound rooted in the Philippines, occupies a distinct space within that broader catalogue, its classification as part of the global R&B lineage tying it to any other works in the artist’s discography that engage with the same genre framework, while its geographic origin anchors it to the specific creative context that shaped its existence as a piece of Philippine cultural production.
