About this Song
Across the Philippines, R&B has grown far beyond a borrowed international genre to become a core pillar of local creative output, woven into the fabric of independent and mainstream creative circuits that stretch from dense urban centers to smaller island communities where creators draw from shared cultural touchstones to shape iterations of the form that feel entirely their own. The sound I'll Never Give Up sits firmly within that long evolving legacy, aligning with the line of Philippine R&B works that engage with the core structural and stylistic foundations of the global R&B genre while anchoring themselves to the specific context of creation within the archipelago.
