About this Song
Philippine R&B holds a distinct space within the global spectrum of the genre, shaped by decades of cultural exchange that have allowed creators from the archipelago to infuse their works with perspectives that resonate both within local communities and across international audiences drawn to the genre’s core commitments to emotional depth and deliberate craft. The sound carrying the title My Grown up Christmas List emerges from that same creative context, rooted in the Filipino artistic landscape that has consistently expanded the boundaries of what R&B can encompass, moving beyond narrow assumptions about the genre’s thematic range to embrace narrative frames that feel both specific and universally relatable.
