About this Song
Rooted in the Philippine rock and roll lineage that has shaped local creative music scenes for decades, the sound titled Muli carries the core creative framing of the genre’s iteration across the archipelago, aligned with a longstanding tradition of rock and roll as a space for artistic exploration and connection that has anchored community gatherings, local performance circuits, and recorded music ecosystems throughout the country. Philippine rock and roll has long occupied a unique space within the nation’s broader musical landscape, bridging the accessibility and energy of a global genre with the specific cultural sensibilities that define artistic creation across the islands, creating a body of work that feels both connected to international rock and roll traditions and distinctly rooted in the experiences, perspectives, and creative priorities of Philippine artists and audiences.
