About this Song
Within the catalogue’s growing body of hip-hop works originating from the Philippines, SDL holds a clear place as a formally catalogued sound rooted in the archipelago’s long history of dynamic creative engagement with the global hip-hop genre. The catalogue’s organizational framework centers geographic origin and genre as core classificatory tools, tying every entry to the context that shapes its creation and circulation, and SDL fits neatly into the network of Philippine hip-hop works that the catalogue stewards for long-term preservation and access.
