About this Song
Written by Guddhist Gunatita, SULITIN’s core creative vision is carried through every stage of its production, from its initial composition to its final polished master, all shepherded by Brian Luna, who stepped in to craft the track’s beat, as well as handle all mixing and mastering work for the sound. As a hip-hop recording out of the Philippines, the piece ties to the broader OLD SOUL album context that frames its creation, with the full official music video developed through a close collaboration between Guddhist Gunatita—who contributes to the visual’s direction under his creative alias GUDDS—and creative partner MKGM. The pair split directing duties for the official music video, while MKGM took on all filming and editing work to bring the video’s narrative and tone to screen, grounding the track’s message in vivid, locally rooted imagery that aligns with the Philippines’ rich, community-focused creative landscape.
