About this Song
Rooted in the decades-long tradition of rock and roll emerging from creative hubs across the Philippines, Hinahanap-Hanap Kita exists as a distinct sound that aligns with the core sonic and cultural boundaries that have defined the genre’s local iteration for generations. Rock and roll as a category of music in the Philippines has never been a static import, but rather a form that has been shaped, refined, and reimagined by every creator who has worked within its framework, turning a globally recognized genre into something that carries unique markers of its Philippine origin, even as it adheres to the core characteristics that make rock and roll a universally identifiable mode of musical expression.
