Gat Putch is a hip-hop rapper from Quezon City, Philippines, known for producing Trap, Trap soul, RnB, and Hiphop Music. He began his music career in 2013 as a DJ at a resto-bar in La Loma, Philippines, and started writing his own songs and creating music with his group members months after. Gat Putch, whose real name is Dan Wilkins Diaz, is also the leader of the group "Yellin Speech." Although he did not receive formal schooling for music production, his work has gained significant traction. In 2019, Gat Putch and his group released the song “Berdeng Pag-iisip,” which earned him the title “Chorus of the year” and opened up more opportunities in the hip-hop industry. He has collaborated with various artists, including Malaysian artist Awie on the rock song "Sakote," a blend of hip hop and rock. Other collaborations include "Ganyan Talaga" with ZJAY, Mhot, and Ron Henley, and "Itinakda" with Awie, Lexus, and Yuridope.
