The hip-hop rapper Gat Putch, also known as Dan Wilkins Diaz, hails from Quezon City in the Philippines and is recognized for his work primarily in Trap, Trap soul, RnB, and Hiphop music. Gat Putch is the leader of the group "Yellin Speech" and began his musical journey in 2013 as a DJ at a resto-bar in La Loma, Philippines. Months after starting as a DJ, he began writing his own songs and creating music with his group members, despite not receiving formal schooling for music production. In 2019, Gat Putch and his group released the song “Berdeng Pag-iisip,” a track that significantly expanded his opportunities within the hip-hop industry and earned him the title “Chorus of the year.” His collaborative efforts span various artists, including Malaysian artist Awie on the rock-infused hip-hop track "Sakote." Other collaborators include ZJAY, Mhot, and Ron Henley on "Ganyan Talaga," and Awie, Lexus, and Yuridope on "Itinakda.
