About this Song
fitterkarma, an alternative rock band from Metro Manila, Philippines, formed in 2023, drawing its name from a combination of Radiohead’s “Fitter Happier” and “Karma Police” from their 1997 album *OK Computer*. The band’s music blends indie rock, alternative rock, and art rock, incorporating acoustic and electric guitars, warm vocals, and occasional heavier parts for live performances. Their lyrics often explore themes of obsessive or masochistic love, devotion, and emotional struggles, drawing inspiration from Philippine folklore and personal experiences, with critics comparing their horror-themed storytelling to The Cranberries' "Zombie." The project began in 2019 as a solo endeavor by Joao de Leon, who performed independently before collaborating with other musicians.
