About this Song
Make Me Whole emerges from the R&B ecosystem rooted in the Philippines, a work that fits within the broad, globally resonant framework of rhythm and blues while claiming its place in a long lineage of Filipino creative output that reinterprets, reimagines, and extends core genre conventions in ways that speak to the specific cultural context from which it arises. As a work of R&B, it aligns with the core impulses that have defined the genre across every region it has taken root in, prioritizing the kind of intentional craft that ties together the form’s global audience, even as it remains firmly grounded in the creative community that nurtured its creation in the Philippines.
