Takedown (feat. Jeongyeon, JIHYO & CHAEYOUNG)
About this Song
Other sounds stretch across the hybrid, cross-cultural creative landscape of Takedown (feat. Jeongyeon, JIHYO & CHAEYOUNG), a recording that brings together its full roster of credited artists: HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, and the KPop Demon Hunters Cast, originating from the Philippines. At the core of this recording is the narrative world that spawned it: the animated Netflix feature KPop Demon Hunters, which introduced HUNTR/X as a fictional K-Pop girl group at the heart of the film’s story, with the trio’s on-screen singing voices provided entirely by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The film premiered globally on Netflix on June 20, 2025, a release date that aligned with the launch of the Twice-led version of Takedown as the lead single from the official KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack album, bringing the track to mainstream audiences alongside the film’s debut.
