About this Song
HUNTR/X is a fictional K-Pop girl group built entirely for the animated Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters, its on-screen singing voices provided by three distinct solo performers: EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Long before they came together to embody the animated trio, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami had already built successful careers as solo artists, while EJAE would bring not only her vocal talent to the project but also her songwriting skill, penning several tracks for the film’s official soundtrack including the breakout hit “Golden.” HUNTR/X never existed as a formal musical entity prior to the development of KPop Demon Hunters; the three singers joined forces exclusively to bring the fictional group’s characters and discography to life for the screen. They recorded all of their contributions to the film’s soundtrack separately, never meeting one another in person until the film’s global premiere on Netflix on June 20, 2025.
