About this Song
Culled from the collective creative output of a cast and core team of performers tied to the KPop Demon Hunters franchise, the sound work Free carries the distinct creative grounding of its Filipino origins, a marker that shapes its place within the broad, uncategorizable umbrella of Music/Other. The full roster of creators credited to Free—Rumi, Jinu, EJAE, Andrew Choi, and the entire KPop Demon Hunters Cast—brings a shared investment in the overarching project that unites their individual creative contributions, aligning their labor to produce a work that resists the narrow sorting of most mainstream music releases.
