La Ode Raimudin, known professionally as Raim Laode, was born on April 28, 1994, in Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi. He graduated from Halu Oleo University with a degree in History Education, building a multi-faceted public career that spanned comedy, acting, and music long before he shared the track Dunia Yang Nanti with audiences. His career as a comedian began in 2014 when he joined the Stand Up Indo community in Kendari, laying the groundwork for his first major national breakthrough two years later. In 2016, he participated in the Stand Up Comedy Academy, shortened to SUCA 2, competition on Indosiar, reaching the top four of the widely viewed national contest. His rising success as a comedian led to his appointment as a tourism ambassador for his home region of Wakatobi, a role that let him leverage his growing national fame to lift up the place where he spent his childhood and early adult years.
