About this Song
Across the Philippines, R&B has long functioned as a thread that weaves together local artistic sensibilities with the global evolution of the genre, creating a space for sonic expression that feels both rooted in shared regional experience and aligned with the broader trajectories of contemporary R&B that resonate across audiences worldwide. Within that rich, evolving landscape sits Wishes, a sound that exists within the long line of Filipino R&B works that expand and reimagine what the genre can hold, drawing on the decades of community and creative exchange that have made Philippine R&B one of the most vibrant subsets of the country’s sprawling musical ecosystem.
