Unfamiliar (Live At The SM Mall Of Asia Arena)
About this Song
The SM Mall Of Asia Arena, a venue that bears witness to the kind of communal joy and vulnerability that only live performance can unlock, frames every note of Unfamiliar (Live At The SM Mall Of Asia Arena), a pop recording from the Philippines that carries the weight and warmth of the band that shaped it, December Avenue, a group that carved its place in the cultural landscape of its home country through a slow, intentional rise from small indie club sets to the sprawling stages that draw tens of thousands of fans eager to lean into the stories the band has spent years refining. From its earliest independent beginnings, the band emerged as a defining voice in OPM, the rich, enduring ecosystem of Original Pilipino Music that has long served as a backbone for Filipino artists to translate experiences that feel rooted in their homeland into universal emotions that resonate with anyone who has ever navigated the messy, beautiful work of being human.
