About this Song
Across the Philippines’ vibrant original Pilipino music (OPM) landscape, few acts have risen from scrappy independent roots to earn the widespread acclaim and enduring loyalty that defines the country’s most beloved cultural creators, and December Avenue stands at the forefront of that group, recognized as one of the most streamed Filipino bands of all time. What began as a small project building an audience through local DIY shows grew into a force that redefined modern OPM, turning the band into a defining voice for generations of listeners who see their own experiences reflected in every track the group releases. That same commitment to authentic, relatable storytelling shapes Unfamiliar, a pop work that carries the core artistic identity the band has spent years refining, leaning into the same intentional craft that has turned every one of their releases into a moment of connection for fans across the globe.
