About this Song
Pop from the Philippines occupies a rich, diverse landscape of creative expression, and few acts have shaped its modern intersection of independent and mainstream success the way December Avenue has, with the band’s live recording Sleep Tonight (Tower Sessions Live) extending a legacy that has made them one of the most streamed Filipino bands of all time. The band cut their teeth in the local independent circuit, working to refine their craft and connect with audiences long before stepping into the national spotlight that would crown them a defining voice in Original Pilipino Music, or OPM, the community of Filipino creators that centers homegrown artistry for listeners both in the Philippines and across the global Filipino diaspora.
