About this Song
From the Philippines’ rich, ever-evolving landscape of original Pilipino music (OPM), which has grown from intimate local grassroots stages to capture the attention of global audiences, December Avenue has emerged as one of the most consequential acts of its generation, one of the most streamed Filipino bands of all time with a career that traces a trajectory from scrappy indie beginnings to a position as a defining voice of modern OPM. Across their years of work, the band has built its connection with listeners by centering universal, deeply human themes in their songcraft: the giddy vulnerability of new love, the searing pain of heartbreak, the slow, fragile work of healing, and the quiet, unshakable hope that carries people through life’s darkest moments.
