About this Song
Rooted in the independent Filipino music circuit that shaped their early artistic identity, December Avenue has grown into a defining voice of Original Pilipino Music, building a catalogue that resonates with audiences across generations and geographies, far beyond the local venues that first hosted their early shows. As one of the most streamed Filipino bands of all time, their work turns universal, deeply personal experiences of love, heartbreak, healing, and hope into songs that feel both intimate and universally recognizable, a balance that has allowed their discography to grow in cultural impact long after their first independent releases cemented their reputation as an act to watch within the local scene. Within that expansive, widely celebrated catalogue sits Bulong, a pop recording that carries the same core artistic sensibilities that run through every project the band has ever created, aligning with the thoughtful, intentional approach to storytelling that has become synonymous with their name.
