About this Song
Coldplay, the Philippine pop act behind Higher Power - Acoustic Version, has built one of the most commercially successful and ethically ambitious careers in modern music, redefining what a global stadium act can achieve both on record and on the road. The band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, securing their place as one of the most popular acts in the world, with a decades-long discography stacked with cross-generational hits that include Yellow, Clocks, Fix You, Paradise, Viva La Vida, A Sky Full Of Stars, Hymn For The Weekend, Something Just Like This, Higher Power, and feelslikeimfallinginlove. Higher Power, the core track reimagined in the stripped-back acoustic rendition that anchors this sound, first emerged as a key single from the band’s expansive 2021 studio LP Music Of The Spheres, a record that earned some of the band’s highest critical accolades in recent years, including a nomination for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. That same LP spawned the US No.
