About this Song
This pop recording from the Philippines, titled "🌈," features a musical approach distinct from the stadium-filling sound of Coldplay, an act known for selling over 100 million albums and releasing numerous hits such as "Yellow" and "Viva La Vida." While Coldplay's acclaimed Music Of The Spheres World Tour, which began in 2022, has sold more than 12 million tickets globally and incorporates extensive sustainability initiatives like 100% renewable energy and kinetic dancefloors, the music of "🌈" offers a different sonic experience. Coldplay's tenth album, *Moon Music*, released in October 2024, followed their 2021 album *Music Of The Spheres*, which included the US No. 1 single "My Universe" with BTS and earned a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. *Moon Music* itself debuted at No. 1 on album charts worldwide, including in the US and UK, becoming Coldplay’s fifth US No. 1 album.
