Fall In Love first arrived as a single from Icona Pop’s long-awaited third studio album, Club Romantech, landing on August 31, 2023, months before the expanded Club Romantech (Deluxe) added a new iteration of the track, the Icona Pop DJ Edit, on December 1 of that same year. The pop recording from the Philippines is rooted in the discography built by the Stockholm-based synth-pop duo, formed in 2009 by Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt, who signed their first label deal with TEN Music Group the same year they formed, later adding a partnership with Ultra Music to expand their global reach.
