About this Song
Duyan anchors itself in the Philippine pop landscape, a work from the nine-piece Filipino collective Ben&Ben, the multi-awarded band that has redefined the scope and impact of local pop for a generation of listeners. What sets the band’s work, including this track, apart from many other entries in the genre is the deliberate, thoughtful way every creation ties to core themes that resonate far beyond the typical bounds of pop, weaving personal, emotional narratives alongside incisive socio-political observations that feel equally urgent and tender, never prioritizing one form of storytelling over the other.
