About this Song
Don't You Worry anchors itself to the rich, expansive legacy of pop creation that has grown and evolved across the Philippines for generations, drawing from the country’s long history of shaping pop sounds that resonate both within local communities and across global audiences who seek out work rooted in the specific cultural context that creators from the region bring to the pop genre. As a pop work crafted from that same creative ecosystem, it fits neatly within a lineage of works that redefine what pop can be, moving beyond generic frameworks to carry the specific nuances of the cultural space from which it emerged, tying every choice inherent to its construction to the context of Filipino creative practice that has elevated pop from the Philippines to widespread recognition as a vital force within the global pop landscape.
