About this Song
The artist behind Paint My Love operates within the rich, expansive landscape of Filipino R&B, a creative space that has cultivated distinct, boundary-pushing interpretations of the genre for generations. R&B’s deep roots in the Philippines have allowed generations of creators to reimagine the form, weaving in cultural sensibilities specific to the archipelago while engaging with the global evolution of R&B as a whole, and Paint My Love extends that longstanding lineage of thoughtful, original work. For decades, Filipino creators working in R&B have built a cohesive yet wildly diverse community that spans every corner of the country, linking artists in major urban creative hubs to those in smaller, regional communities that nurture their own unique takes on the genre.
