Bad Desire (With or Without You) (English Ver.)
About this Song
Rooted in the Philippines’ thriving global pop landscape, a track that explores the messy, contradictory nature of unbridled longing balances nostalgic pop-R&B flair with bold structural choices that set it apart from mainstream conventions. Bad Desire (With or Without You) (English Ver.), performed by the seven-member group ENHYPEN, marks the seventh track on the group’s 6th mini-album, DESIRE : UNLEASH, bringing the project’s central exploration of want to a sharp, focused peak with its June 5, 2025 release. Clocking in at 2 minutes and 21 seconds, the pop track distills every thread of its creative vision into a tight, immersive runtime that never wastes a moment, leaning into its classification as a sleek dance-pop cut that expresses intense desire through carefully crafted paradoxical lyrics, written by JBACH and Henry Walter, who weave lines that pull between the thrill of giving in to want and the fear of what that surrender might unravel.
