Korean-American singer, rapper, and songwriter Audrey Nuna, born Audrey Chu, started her music career in her teens by uploading covers before making her commercial debut in 2018, initially performing as Audrey. After attending the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, she left to focus on her music, leading to her discovery by producer Anwar Sawyer, who became her manager. She signed with Arista Records in 2019, releasing early independent singles like a trio of ballads and "Honeypot" in 2018. Her major-label debut singles in 2019 included "Time," "Paper," and a collaboration with Jack Harlow on "Comic Sans." In 2020, she officially changed her stage name to Audrey Nuna, releasing singles such as "Damn Right" and its sequel, "Damn Right Pt. 2," with DJ Snake. Her debut album, *a liquid breakfast*, arrived in 2021, followed by a 17-track deluxe version in January 2022, featuring songs like "Comic Sans," "damn Right," "Space," and "Blossom.
