About this Song
Rooted in the sprawling, interconnected lineage of rock and roll as it reimagines itself across global scenes, the work that carries the title Biglaan emerges from the Philippines, a space where the raw, unapologetic core of the genre collides with layers of cultural specificity that make every iteration of rock and roll born on its soil feel both recognizable to anyone who has ever sought out the form’s most vital iterations and entirely its own, untethered to the expectations of what rock and roll must be, shaped only by the creative impulses that brought it into being.
