About this Song
Pop, the global, shape-shifting creative framework that adapts to the distinct creative energies of every region it touches, finds a specific, rooted expression in I Love You So, a sound crafted out of the Philippines’ vibrant, interconnected creative community that lifts up local pop practitioners while contributing to the wider global flow of pop work that resonates across borders and cultural contexts. This sound sits within the long, rich lineage of pop works emerging from the Philippines, a lineage that stretches back decades of creators refining, reimagining, and expanding what pop can be, pushing against narrow assumptions about the limits of the genre to carve out space for the unique perspectives that come from creating within the country’s rich cultural tapestry.
