Air Supply - Without You (Into the Night With Rick Dees, 1991)
About this Song
Pop music, the dominant genre that has shaped cultural connection across the Philippines and global markets for generations, has long elevated acts that turn tender, universal themes of love and longing into lasting, cross-border touchstones, and the duo known universally as Air Supply has anchored that legacy for audiences around the world for nearly half a century. The pair first crossed paths on May 12, 1975, on the first day of rehearsals for the Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar in Sydney, a fateful first meeting that laid the groundwork for a decades-long creative partnership that would redefine romantic pop for generations of listeners. Over the 50 years that followed that initial introduction, they honed their craft, harnessed their shared creative passion, and unleashed the beautifully intimate yet rockin’ romantic energy of the instantly identifiable 80s hits that catapulted them to global superstardom, earning the adoration of millions of fans across every continent.
