Air Supply returns to Blue Note Hawaii!!
About this Song
Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock met on May 12, 1975, on the first day of rehearsals for the Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar in Sydney, a casual first encounter that bloomed into a creative partnership that would shape the landscape of global pop for the next half century, turning two young performers sharing space in a touring chorus into the iconic duo known to millions of fans worldwide as Air Supply. Over the nearly 50 years that have passed since that first meeting, the pair has honed their skills, harnessed their shared passion for storytelling through melody, and unleashed the beautifully intimate yet rockin’ romantic energy of the instantly identifiable 1980s hits that turned them into global superstars, tracks that remain staples of pop culture decades after their first release.
