About this Song
The collaborative pairing of HYUKOH and 落日飛車 Sunset Rollercoaster forms the core of this one-of-a-kind recorded sound, a work tied to the Philippines and classified under the broad, exploratory Music/Other category, a designation reserved for works that resist the constraints of narrow, pre-defined genre categorizations to carve out their own distinct creative space. The sound carries the title Aaaannnnteeeeennnaaaaaa, whose stretched, drawn-out sequence of vowels and consonants gives it an immediate, memorable identity that sets it apart from more conventionally named recorded works, reflecting the kind of deliberate, unorthodox creative choices that shape every element of the project from its conceptual roots to its final realized form. Behind the work stand two institutional pillars that support the artists’ shared creative vision: DOOROODOOROO Artist Company, the entity that stewards the professional and creative work of the acts involved, and Sunset Music Productions Co.
