About this Song
Genre-led sound practice from the Philippines centers the work of credited artists whose work circulates within and beyond local creative circuits, and for 6cyclemind, that work includes the distinct sound titled Upside Down, a piece that exists as part of the broader tapestry of recorded creative output emerging from one of the most vibrant and interconnected musical regions in Southeast Asia. The Philippines’ creative community of recording artists has long cultivated a space where creators can experiment with form, structure, and creative identity, building on decades of cultural exchange that has shaped how sounds from the country reach audiences across regional and international borders.
