About This Album

Coming straight outta Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria, Buang Junior Mokoka, known in the streets as TheBuu, is one of the new wave Amapiano producers carrying the sound forward. Since 2018, he’s been shaping his lane with deep log drums, soulful chords, and that raw kasi bounce that connects hearts and dancefloors. Inspired by De Mthuda, Black Motion, and Kabza De Small, TheBuu’s sound speaks to the soul - healing energy with a street touch. His catalogue includes collabs with DJ Maphorisa, Mellow & Sleazy, and appearances on heaters like “Chom’yam” and “Pabi jo”
