About This Album
Nhlonipho is a talented singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He started creating music a child; he won his first solo competition while in his primary school choir and later received 5 Tenor Soloist trophies in High School and College. He studied music in 2015 and now holds a Diploma in Music Performance, Piano and a Diploma in Civil Engineering. In the course of his career, he has worked with renowned South African and international artists, such as MÖRDA, Ami Faku, Amanda Black, Samthing Soweto, Mthandazo Gatya, Aubrey Qwana, Robot Boii, Juls, Yithi Sonke, Mjakes The Producer, OSKIDO, Citizen Deep Simmy, Kekelingo, Azana, Luyolo Yiba, Thando Mngomezulu, Shuffle Muzik, Zintle Kwaaiman, Nathi Mankayi, Citizen Deep, Mo-T, Martin Khan, Nathan Blur, Siyakha Khitha, Wanda Zonke, Damian Soul, Soweto central Chorus, and Nhlakanipho Dlamini. Nhlonipho relocated to Johannesburg in 2015, where he worked as a lecturer in Music Theory & Keyboard Technique at Digmac Media College in Braamfontein, which he says taught his a low of patience.
