Nektunez (real name Noble Zogli) is an African-American Billboard-charting producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, composer, and entrepreneur, best known for the global hit “Ameno Amapiano (Remix)”. Born in Ho, Ghana, and now based in the U.S., he holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana — a reflection of his thoughtful, analytical nature. Reserved and intellectual by nature, Nektunez brings purpose and depth to his music. Early exposure to diverse influences—from traditional African rhythms to global genres—shaped his distinctive style. He plays various instruments, including traditional and percussion ones. Teaching himself music production, he spent countless hours perfecting a sound that weaves together culture, mood, and innovation. His music fuses African rhythms with modern elements, often layering unexpected sounds like ancient chants over contemporary beats. It’s this creative blend that makes his work stand out. Influenced by artists like Avicii, Dr. Dre, JR Rotem, DJ Khaled, Bon Iver, David Guetta, and Kanye West, Nektunez creates music that crosses genres but stays rooted in groove and emotion. “For me, it’s all about mood and deep hypnotic grooves — music that gets you moving without even realizing it.”
