About This Album
Discover Day Ones, the eclectic album from Nigerian artist ilykarma, a standout addition to the innovative wave of African music emerging from Nigeria’s thriving independent creative scene. Defying narrow genre boxes, this project channels the raw, unfiltered energy of emerging creators, crafting a sound equally suited for late-night solo reflection and casual hangouts with the long-time “day one” friends the title honors.
