Sibusiso Mokone, known by his stage name CowBoii, is a rising star in South Africa’s Amapiano scene. Born and raised in Daveyton, his passion for music was sparked early through his involvement in his school choir and Sunday School performances. But it was during a primary school play where a teacher nicknamed him “CowBoii,” a name that has since become synonymous with his unique sound and style. CowBoii’s music is deeply personal, inspired by the world around him. “I find my music in the things I see every day and, most importantly, from the people I work with,” he shares. This authenticity has fueled his rapid rise, leading to hits like Bayazi and Abafana Be Piano. His breakout came with collaborations like MFR Souls and Dlala Regal’s hit 'Mpolaye,' positioning him as one of the fastest-growing vocalists in the Amapiano genre.
